HOW TO BUY E-TICKETS

After selecting your preferred programme, you can find out about the partner’s ticket prices and its special offers. Then by clicking on the “Purchasing Tickets” button you can select the right tickets for you. The next step is to give your details and your e-mail address. Please make sure that you provide a valid e-mail address, as both your tickets and the invoice will be sent to this address. Finally, pay by card quickly and safely. 


I’M STILL NEW TO ONLINE PURCHASING. HOW DOES IT WORK?

Online purchasing is as simple as paying in a shop by card or withdrawing money from an ATM. The payment process is safe, fast and transparent. 
After selecting your tickets, the system redirects you to the bank’s website. Here, you have to follow 5 simple steps:
1.    Take out your bank card!
2.    Enter your name! 
3.    Enter your 16-digit card number!
4.    Enter the expiry date of your card!
5.    Enter the CVV code (a 3-digit number on the back of the card, under the signature)!
Finally, click on the “Send” button. If the transaction is successful, the purchased tickets will be sent immediately (not later than 30 minutes) to your previously provided e-mail address.

HOW SAFE IS IT TO PAY ONLINE?

Paying online is absolutely safe.
You have to give your bank card information only on the bank’s website and they are handled solely by the bank. Moreover, more than 5000 businesses are using Barion for online payments. Click here for further details on Barion.


DO I HAVE TO PRINT OUT MY TICKET IN ORDER TO VALIDATE IT? 

No, you don’t have to. Tickets can be validated in a digital format as well, but in many cases it is easier and faster to enter with a printed version. You will receive your tickets via e-mail in a PDF format. You can open them using the free program Adobe Reader. IMPORTANT: If you want to show us your ticket in a digital format, make sure it is also available offline (without an Internet connection). For example, save the PDF file to your phone. It often happens that you run out of mobile data or you don’t have any WiFi nearby.
 
IS THERE A POSSIBILITY TO PAY WITH SZÉCHENYI RECREATION CARD (SZÉP CARD)?

No, there isn’t. According to the relevant law, we are unable to accept Szép Card. 
Choosing Szép Card won’t even appear as a possibility on the payment page of BARION.
According to the 5./§10/ (1) in the Government Decision No. 55/2011. (IV. 12.) published in Magyar Közlöny, benefits may only be used for purposes falling within the scope of service provision.
As Ticketbase is considered to be an intermediary, Szép Card cannot be used on the website.


CAN I BUY TICKETS FOR SOMEONE ELSE OR AS A GIFT? 

Of course you can! If you don’t have to provide personal details (name, date of birth) when you purchase the tickets, it is enough to forward the e-mail with the attached tickets.
In case the aforementioned information is needed, then only the person indicated on the ticket can use it. No need to worry, this does not complicate the process of ticket purchasing, moreover the website even helps you along the way. 


WHO WILL HAVE ACCESS TO MY PERSONAL DATA?

Nobody! It is the system that needs your personal details to automatically issue an invoice for the purchased tickets.


WHAT TO DO IF THE WEBSITE IS NOT WORKING AS IT SHOULD?

To use the website, we recommend Google Chrome, Safari or Mozilla Firefox. If you are using one of them or a different one, and you experience a malfunction, try to use one of the above-mentioned browsers. If it is still not working, in some cases, restarting the computer can fix the problem.


HELP ME! I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY TICKET.

After a successful payment by card, we will immediately send you your tickets and the invoice for them to the e-mail address you have previously given. If you do not receive them within half an hour, please, do not make a new purchase, call our Customer Service Call Center, or write us an e-mail. 
If you haven’t received the tickets and the invoice, probably the following problems may have occurred: 

1)    If you have received the payment notification about the card transaction, but not the tickets, then it is worth checking the junk (SPAM) folder 
2)    If you have received the payment notification about the card transaction, but not the tickets, it is possible that you had given an invalid e-mail address. In that case, please contact our Customer Service, and we will send you your tickets to the right e-mail address.
3)    It can happen that the problem is caused by some type of bank communication error. In that case, please contact our Customer Service!


HOW CAN I PAY ON TICKETBASE?

You can pay by using your bank card. Paying online with a bank card is fast and simple. If you have ever paid by card, trust us, this won’t cause you trouble either.


WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY BANK CARD HAS BEEN CHARGED, BUT I HAVE RECEIVED AN E-MAIL ABOUT AN UNSUCCESSFUL PURCHASE?

In most cases, banks only block this amount, which is mostly released after a short period of time. If this amount has been indeed withdrawn from your account, please check your e-mails, in particular the junk (SPAM) folder.


IS IT NECESSARY TO REGISTER IN ORDER TO PURCHASE TICKETS? 
No, it is not. You don’t have to be registered to make purchases on the website.


IS IT POSSIBLE TO BOOK TICKETS BY PHONE OR VIA E-MAIL?
No, it is not. There is no possibility of booking.


CAN I BUY TICKETS FOR MULTIPLE PROGRAMMES AT THE SAME TIME? 
Unfortunately, you can buy tickets for only one programme at a time, because the invoice will be issued by the partner whose tickets you are purchasing.


BESIDES THE PRICE OF THE TICKET, ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES? 
There is a service charge, which is included in the prices.


WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I ACCIDENTALLY DELETED MY TICKETS? 
There is no need to worry. Contact our Customer Service, and we will try to send you your tickets as soon as possible. 


WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN EVENT IS CANCELLED? 
When an event is cancelled and its organizers issue an official statement about it, we inform you via e-mail about the rescheduling and the process of refunding.


HOW DOES THE REFUND PROCESS WORK?
In case of a refund, the price of the tickets is automatically returned to your bank account.
